Lattes - 01 Sep 2004 16:35 GMT So in this months Scuba Diving Magazine (save the reviews, the subscription was a gift from a non-diver) BC tied for best place in the world to dive.
Seeing as I live in Canada (although BC is a longer flight than the Caribbean) I figure I should give it a go, any reviews, tips, operators?
Thanks a bunch d

Avoid Porpoise Bay Charters, and only go with Dynamike if you can't get on with Bryce or the N.E.

In the past you would piss some folks off so bad their sniveling response would include your name in the subject line of their post.
I haven't seen this out of you in quite some time, your not going PC are you?

I come to rec.scuba just for the drama; in the past you have been the person who stirred the pot. There has been a slow but steady decline in the drama department at rec.scuba so I thought I would take it up with you personally.
If your not up to it I understand; first GI3 quit posting & now this
..what's the scuba world coming to?

Were you actually under the delusion that I came to rec.scuba for information about scuba diving....now that's funny!
Carry on.

Dan Bracuk If at first you don't succeed, you run the risk of failure. The Best of rec.scuba http://www.pathcom.com/~bracuk/RecScuba/

:p Actually, I can go there for about $300 CAN flight and I have a free place to stay if I want to shore dive, if I shore dive it is free, only $10 for tank rental/fill to go with a group.
I am going to be in Victoria this weekend and am going to go for my dry suit certification! YAY!

BC is trying to pay off its' provincial debt by keeping speed limits artificially low and then handing out as many speeding tickets as possible.

Some of the questions here boggle the mind...

> Some of the questions here boggle the mind... Daniel J. Matz - 02 Sep 2004 22:21 GMT Visibility is best in the winter (hence the drysuit), less run-off and no algae blooms . The water temperature does not vary much once you are down 60' or so, but getting in and out of the water in a wetsuit in freezing temperatures is not fun.
