What is the most unusual dive location?

I once heard about an unusual dive site in the Southwest U.S.A.
desert. I can't remember the name of it though. Are there any other
unusual dive sites out there?

I know of at least two former missle silos. I also know of one silo
that's got a huge propellor in it that is used as a sort of free fall
"simulator". And yes, there's a screen between the propellor and the
flying minced meat.

One of the strangest I dived in was on Coron island in the Philippines.
It was a fresh-water lake that had hot springs on the bottom. The water
temperature was around 30C when you started, and when you got deep
enough, to around 25m (if I remember correctly, my logbook is somewhere)
the water started to get hotter, until on the bottom it was around 40C
(almost too hot to bear). Wiz was good until the water started to get
hotter and much more saltier.

When we got higher from the bottom the water felt extremely cold. And
there were strange small creatures around the thermocline as well (small
black strangelooking fish that liked to stay quite near the wall/bottom).

Of course the birch forest at around 20 meters in one of the stripmines
nearby is pretty strange as well.
