Anyone have an idea on the diving conditions in Little Cayman a week
from today? I am hoping that a week after a hurricane things should be
back to normal barring another storm.
regards,
Mike

My experience on LC after big storms is that immediately after you may find
sand falls on the walls, lots of broken trash laying around everywhere and
small critters not where they were before, and therefore not easy for the
divermasters to guide you to them. Vis might be down for a while too. Not
sure about water temp.

In any case, I'd rather be on LC putting up with all that, than here on the
mainland working to save for my November LC trip. <G>

Bon Voyage!

I've looked into my crystal ball, and I see that it will be awesome.  That
is, if you don't mind a few docks blown away and some missing boats.

Well, there ya go.

The diving should generally be fine...its just the "getting there" that
might have some complications (eg diveboat).

I've gotten two fairly mixed reports on how the Sister Islands fared.
One unconfirmed report claimed that the Brac lost three docks (and has
since been pulled from the web).  Another reported nothing about the
Brac, but said that LC had some flooding and a few trees down.

In a week's time, if their problems have been "small", they will have
had them sorted out.  If their problems aren't small, they'll should be
contacting their customers to reschedule their visits.
