I am trying to decide whether or not to dive in Tobermorey or a septic
tank.  Both are cold, low vis and have nothing to see but decaying
sh.t.  Both are useless unless you like risking your life.  Have 25
dives in tob.  4 on the arabia.  Did my first warm water dive last
week.

Never again will I dive in Tob.

What a f.cking sh.t hole.

If at first you don't succeed, you run the risk of failure.

Come on Steve !
The sound of mull offers some of the UK's best wreck diving. Many a
novice wreck diver have cut their teeth on the Hispania, Rhonda,
Shuna, Breda, etc. On a good day the viz can be exceptional and the
marine life varied - Wrasse to porpoise.
I do dig what u say about warm water diving though. I ditched my dry
suit last year and never intend to crawl back in.
Don't put prospective UK divers off Tobermoray..... they may never get
to warm their cockles in front of the fire in the Mishnish !!

Tobermory is OK I hear, never dove there myself.
Much better is the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario

The St. Lawrence River - fresh, warm, visible diving.

Having dove both, I agree.
