Through an amazingly apropos set of circumstances (a dealer who replaces the
Halcyon STA's with my weighted ones), I have come into possession of 20
brand new Halcyon stainless steel STA's:

http://www.selchie.com/halcyon_sta.htm

Halcyon dealers sell these for $98 with cam bands

Until I sell them all, or use them for wheel chocks, you can buy these from
me, with bolts but without cam bands for $20, or complete with OxyCheq
cam bands for $60, plus $5.00 for Priority mail to anywhere in the
Continental US.

PS: To those of you patiently awaiting your weighted sta's; it is all going
to come together next week.

Thanks for not lynching me.

What's a cam band?

Its an eclectic group of musicians whose rhythm section is based upon the
lope of a built 350 small block
with a 375 horsepower Iskendarian hydraulic cam.

A different band adopted the rhythm of a 93 inch Knucklehead with a
Lieneweber .420 lift, 312 duration cam.

Motorhead?

Since this is so obvious to me, I assume your question is real.  It's the
web strap that holds your tank to your STA, BCD, whatever that cinches up
tight with a cam action buckle.

Must be a DIR thing.  On Team Stroke we use tank straps.

Robbery! The local K-Mart has much better prices on Halcyon gear.

I bought one of yours thru Pat.

Would you know if Pat has started production on the Signature Series
singles wings yet and if he made a decision to offer the LJ light with
an LED bulb?

I thought the El-Cheapo STAs were just a 6-pack of beer and 3 cam straps (or
cargo straps if you're really going the cheap route)... Of course this only
works in cold water since no one wants to drink a warm beer during a deco
stop... <grin>

Only 2 cargo straps. What kind of beer ?

Burp!!

Well, a 6-pack of beer would equate to 3 pairs (front and rear), so I would
think that 3 cargo straps would be more appropriate... Of course, towards
the end of the deco, you would need to store the used cargo straps (unless
you put the empties back against the tank)... For warm water diving, I guess
you would be stuck with Guinness since it is *supposed* to be drunk warm (I
prefer it cold though)... Then again, perhaps one would want to find the
most appropriate beer for the body of water that one is diving in... For
Texas, you would of course have to drink Lone Star... Kind of a means of
recycling the beer, I guess... <grin>

What's the difference between GUINNESS? Draught and GUINNESS? Draught
Extra Cold?
The temperature. GUINNESS? Draught is usually served at 6?C and
GUINNESS? Draught Extra Cold should be chilled for a minimum of 3 hours
before being served at a cooler 3.5?C.

3.5C?  Damn, that's a warm beer... If ice crystals haven't started to form
in it, it's not cold enough...

Yes and yes.

The wings are in hand, and *very* nice, and I am going to be working on the
lights in the next few weeks.

Looks like I need to make a phone call this week.

Not to rush it but any timeline on the lights?
