I will be diving in Cozumel last week of Februrary. What exposure suit
should I take? I have a 3/2mm neoprene or Lycra body suit.

either would be fine. I have done Coz in Jan with just lycra, but that
little extra from the 3/2 may be wuite comfortable.

For me, it would depend on the number of dives planned.
Even in the 3/2, on Sunday, dive #7 and 8, I was getting a little
chilly.

That depends on how cold you get, I dove many time in Coz without
any protection. You might consider a Lycra suit just to protect yourself
from rocks and coral. If you plan on diving in deeper water than you might
consider a 3mm suit.

I'll be there the 2nd week in February :-) My LDS (who takes groups
there) recomended a 5mil - I'm assuming that's because they were diving
several times a day for a week. I was planning on taking my 3/5
Seaquest (its all I have). I can always shed if I'm too hot.

If at first you don't succeed, you run the risk of failure.

I was there last week. Water temp was around 79...down to 100 or so. The
cenotes are belching their cold water, too, so you'll run through pockets that
feel fairly cool. I don't have lots of "padding" so I use a 3 mil full
year-round and am very comfortable. This past week, I put a 2 mil shorty over
it and wore a thin hood. Made a BIG difference from the first day's dives when
I was sporting a 3mm and no hood.
Dive safely.
(btw...someone sighted a whale shark a month ago and the spotted eagles are
running in full force. you'll not likely encounter the whale shark, but the
eagles are always spectacular)

Understanding that I *ALWAYS* dive dry at Catalina, I wear a 3/2
fullsuit on any dive that I'm not diving dry.
I own a shorty and have yet to use it.

Adam,
I dive there twice a year and bring a 3mm shorty. Works great!! I have used
a lycra full suit in the past, but after a week of diving, I started to get
cold.
