Anyone have any experience with Scuba Club Coz?

Got an invite for a local group that may be going in a few months and
thought I would ask around see if anyone has had any experiences with them.

Supposed to be "all inclusive".

I know Joe's been there.  Haven't tried it myself, but I've heard
nothing but good reports about the place.  All-inclusive food, not
booze, and the food is supposed to be good.  What rings out from the
many positive reports is the service - apparently they remember past
customers by name, etc.

Also a very good dive operator.  If you go in a group, make sure you
all sign up for the same boat the first day.  You can pick (well,
request) your sites the afternoon before.

Food is really, really good.  Forget Tex Mex or Cali Mex or Sonoran
(and f.ck Taco Hell).  This is Yucatan and llike nothing you've ever
had.  Booze is reasonably well priced.

Service?  The first day, we dived with some folks we really liked and
had dinner together that nigh.  Next night Carol and I got to the
restaurant and the waiter asked if we were eating with our friends. We
said yes and he seated us in a nice corner and then brought them over
when they came in.

DMs treat you like adults capable of making your own choices about
diving, at least until you prove yourself otherwise incapable.

Unlimited shore diving.  Check out your tanks by 5:30 pm and drop them
off at the shack when you're done with them.  Good, honest fills.
Bring a cheap combo lock.  You'll toss it after the trip.  They have
lockers where you keep your gear.  Although most of the time you'll
see people with wet stuff draped just about anyplace possible.

"Don't drink the water, we don't".  They will provide you with all the
purified water you can drink, and clean, safe ice.  Use it to brush
your teeth.  Carol used it to wash her hands when she took our or put
in her contacts.

Bring small bills for tips.  The service will be better than a hotel
that charges $300 a night in Hawai'i and they don't bitch and whine.
They have safe deposit boxes, but the only things we put in there were
our passports and spare cash.  Didn't bring any jewlery, although I
don't think that leaving it discrettly "hidden" in the room would have
been a concern, but we didn't know.

Last time we were there, Sofia was the GM.  She speaks specatcular
English and was reading a text book "Idioms of American and British
English".

If you can go, go.
