A lone Communist Russian mad scientist.  Of course we should believe
him!  Scott does!

"His views are completely at odds with the mainstream scientific
opinion," said Colin Wilson, a planetary physicist at England's Oxford
University.

"And they contradict the extensive evidence presented in the most
recent IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change]
report." (Related: "Global Warming 'Very Likely' Caused by Humans,
World Climate Experts Say" [February 2, 2007].)

"Amato Evan, a climate scientist at the University of Wisconsin,
Madison, added that "the idea just isn't supported by the theory or by
the observations."

But who cares about any of that?  The Communist Russian lone mad
scientist's views just happen to jibe with that other scientific
scholar Rush Limbaugh so it must be true!

Money to help Americans, a lot of Americans.  How evil!

We need more bridges to nowhere in Iraq!

Uh, wasn't it the other guy who was fervently anti-pork?  That old guy
with the bimbo running mate who lost badly?

Obama's no Muslim, we've already established that.  He's a liberal.
Why should he hate pork?

(And why isn't Lee questioning the Muslimness of the avowed pork hater
who treats women like sh.t unless they have hundreds of millions of
dollars and want to support him?  That guy wasn't even born in the
U.S., unlike Obama.)

Whether Bama-Boy was born in the US or not, it still doesn't mean that he's
a "natural born citizen"... Personally, I tend to agree with the definition
that requires both parents to have been citizens... I would go even further
and support a definition that would require both parents to also have been
born here in the US... Of course, the problem with that definition is that
it mean that Andrew Jackson couldn't have been president nor a few others
who had a single parent who had immigrated here... I believe that all of
them were US citizens at the time of the birth of their future-president
son... The same cannot be said for Bama-Boy... The purpose of the "natural
born citizen" clause was that the FFs wanted to ensure that anyone who
might be the Commander in Chief of the Army did not have any ties to
foreign governments (as might happen if one parent was a foreign
citizen)... An argument could definitely be made that Bama-Boy has ties to
a foreign government due to the fact that his father was never a citizen
here...

Maybe you're right.  Maybe it was McCain who wanted to stop the pork.
Obama, apparently, just wanted people to think he wanted to stop the pork.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/12/07/obama.economy/

I guess he meant that the govenrment wouldn't ONLY be producing pork
anymore.

And then, there's always this: ' Obama added that earmarks should "never,
ever be traded for political favors." ' from

Wasn't he?

My understanding is that he was born at Coco Solo Naval Air Station.  It's
located in Panama, but it is (or, at least, was), as I recall, a US naval
base.  As such, it is considered to be part of our country.  If it is part
of our country and he was born there, then how was he not born in the US?

With that rationale, there's obviously no problem letting the
Guantanamo terrorist into U.S. prisons since they're already in the
U.S.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/28/us/politics/28mccain.html

He is definitely a citizen, but whether he is a "natural born" citizen is
open to debate... In my opinion, he has quite a bit better legal standing
on this matter than Bama-Boy, but it doesn't mean that he is a slam dunk
"natural born" citizen either... As a strict contitutionalist, I tend to
think that Bama-Boy does not meet the "natural born" citizen clause...

Looking at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_nationality_law

we see that:
<quote>
The U.S. Constitution was based upon the encyclopedic "The Law of
Nations," (Droit des gens; ou, Principes de la loi naturelle appliqués à
la conduite et aux affaires des nations et des souverains) a treatise
written in 1758 by Swiss lawyer and diplomat Emerich de Vattel as a
manual for how government should function. Book I, Chapter XIX, part 212,
codified the definition of "Natural born citizen" as jus soli jus
sanguinus: “The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the
country, of parents who are citizens.”
</quote>

As such, Bama-Boy definitely does not qualify as a "natural born"
citizen...

Of course, it is *possible* that the framers of the Constitution were
really wanting to discrimiate against those born to Cesaerian sections,
but somehow, I doubt it...

Nah, Queen Sarah, America's first female President (Hilary screams), won't
be needing all the excuses...

 Gotta love Drudge:

4:15 AM: OBAMA SAYS FUTURE DOES NOT BELONG TO THOSE WHO GATHER ARMIES OR
PLANT MISSILES...

7:45 AM: Suspected US missiles hit (Pakistani) militants...

When is Obama going to end this illegal, undeclared, imperialistic
invasion of Pakistan?

This time you mis-typed bimbo.

Isn't she out fishing?

You run Palin against any Democrat and the Dem is sure to win.  Hmmm.
Maybe I should run!

Just another undeclared, illegal invasion of a non-Christian nation.

If only Sarah Palin were President the world would be a safer place.
She's so intelligent.
I'm in awe every time she opens her mouth.
The Repugs are lucky to haver her waiting in the wings.
The Dems are luckier.
