Nothing except my blender cert...just to save money on gas (the dive
shop in Black River Falls gives discounts if you fill your own tanks).
I'm done with diving certs. Now I'm set to dive the Kamloops at the
end of August...in 260FFW.

Finally something to make all the classes worth while.

Cool
I got my AOW too.
A small revision to the dives I thought we were going to do. We did a
deep dive, navigation dive, DPV dive, peak performance bouyancy, and
night dive.

Good to hear that too.
FWIW, what did you think of the AOW? For example, did you think it
was really worth an extra class, or should its contents have been part
of OW, etc?

Definitely the contents could have been part of the OW class, maybe as
an add-on option or something. But, I really liked that I had my own
gear to use on the dives. I didn't have to frig around adding weights or
finding the right size wetsuit. Although, I wouldn't of had my gear if
it was part of the OW course.
BTW, I discovered that the dry-cuffs on my drysuit have been on wrong
for three years and my hands SHOULD have been getting wet. All fixed now.

<bloody lazy instructor rant>
What is dpv on AOW supposed to teach you, certainly not buouyancy or
diving! Why not just hang on to a buddy and let HIM drag you round the
dive site, be just as valid!

I have a DPV cert.
AOW is a great class for people who don't get to dive much, just as long
as they actually -learn- the aspects of the dives they do.
