Hey there Sharky !! Best of 2204 to you and Lady Bullshark !!
IMHO, the info presented on the site is not really a "rapid how to".
It's quite involved for the lay-person, down to including the cranial
nerves. I've seen Neurologists do no more than what is laid out there
for the exam that the website gives... a so-called "rapid" exam that
is to be done by lay ppl... and yet, the specialist does the same
thing.
The website gives a wonderful knowledge base. However, I don't think
that the average diver would see the subtle things that are described
by this exam. I think that by the time the average diver realizes he /
she is in trouble, the process is advanced... and so there won't be an
exam of this type onboard the dive boat or at the dock because the
goal will be toward securing rescue / ambulance. The other thing is
that if a diver has a mild hit, he / she will most often be in denial
(remember a certain person that you and know who boarded a plane with
symptoms ??) and so they won't tell you about the 'little changes'
that could be present in the exam on this website.
Nonetheless, it's a great site. Thank you for sharing it !! :)
