We want to go to Bahamas in April.
Any suggestions?
Walker's Cay sounds good because of the shark diving.
Maybe Freeport is the ticket.
We want to stay someplace really nice, but no mega-resorts.
Best dives?
Great ocean front resort with good service and food.

We also want to take a short trip to Cuba for partying, eating, drinking,
cigars.

Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks, Ginny

Walker's Kay is interesting and has more than just shark dives.  It's not a
bad choice.

Personally, I dislike Freeport.  It's way too busy and way too touristy.
Lucky for me, it's not the only city on Grand Bahamas Island.  Grand Bahama
Island has both shark and dolphin dives.  I don't recall anything special
about the reefs, so can't comment further.

I like Andros.  It was some of the best diving I remember in the Bahamas and
is a quieter, gentler island.
