Lee Bell, in a subject initiated by Ron Lee, continued his malicious
attack, now sank to a new LOW, not content with Hugh Huntzinger's
malicious GRUDGE attack, mud-slinging me and my profession, wrote:

LB>  that way.  I hope his wife < ... > helps him stear clear of such

LB>  therapy.  Once upon a time, he was worth knowing.

Trying unsuccessfully to flame me is one thing.  Have some HUMAN
DECENCY, Lee.  Read my "euology" posts about this man.

Furthermore, Lee had kill-filed me and hadn't read any of my posts for
MONTHS (supposed YEARS) now, somehow could make such irresponsible
statements with his head in the sand (or in an orifice where the sun
don't shine):

LB>  He's a small man with a big ego and, now that he's no longer king
LB>  of the classroom, one who's having a bit of trouble understanding
LB>  why he does not get the respect he thinks is his right.

On the topics of credibility, respect, scuba substance, and
netizenship,
I find it no coincidence or surprise that in a single morning, we have
these INDEPENDENT assessments and testimonials about Lee Bell, by
three
Eminent Professionals (EPs) in the same SCUBA discussion forum:

EP1>  Of recent times, your follow-up critiques of my posts has been a
EP1>  predictable occurrence that inevitably degenerates to this
level.
EP1>  Which comes as little surprise given your appalling lack of
knowledge
EP1>  of diving.  Wouldn't you, therefore, be better off re-instating
me
EP1>  back into your kill-file - where you put me once before?

It wouldn't help.  It would only make (Mr. Hyde) Lee's follow-up style
much worse.  Lee would apply his same "follow-up critique" to your
posts,
EXCEPT he would have read snippets of them, second hand and out of
context from someone who cited you.

EP2>  It's official: You may be able to read, but comprehension is
sorely
EP2>  lacking.  I wonder why this surprises me, I should have
recognized
EP2>  the pattern long ago. I'll try to use CAPS where I think it will
EP2>  enhance your understanding:

ROTFLMAO!   CAPS definitely would not help Lee.  Trust me!   :-)

EP2>  I was always told that black holes were the densest phenomenon
in
EP2>  the universe, but I am beginning to think maybe I could take a
swing
EP2>  at a Nobel Prize in physics, if I could prepare a compelling
synopsis
EP2>  of your posts.

No, that would only give Lee a FIRST in the Nobel Prizes in Physics,
in which the recipient IS a Black Hole.

EP3>  Does wanting to bitch slap Lee count?  ;-)

Towards your standing in Good Citizenship!   :-)

-- Bob.  (A disinterested reader in the thread in question, about
fins.)

P.S.  A related note to Lee and Hugh Huntzinger's contribution to
LISTS:

     1.  There has been ZERO post (except Nick's censorship edict,
euphemistically labeled "Posting Guidelines") in Scuba-L,
         since Christmas, 2003.

     2.  Scuba-SE, (count started essentially after Nick's censorship
massacre of Scuba-L in MAY, 2000) surpassed the 18,000 postS
mark this morning.  Scuba-L had a TOTAL of 466 postings
(including Nick's periodic posting of censorship
guidelines.)

He's NEVER been OBSESSED, Alan, just STRESSED OUT, INARTICULATE, and
UNEDUCATED!

This is rec.scuba*.  No one cares about LISTS here, not even me.  What's
important is Lee's reputation here versus yours.  That's an easy one.

It maligns the entire fish population using such an association.

Throw him back.  He's too small.
