I have booked a vacation to Grand Cayman.  I have been looking at dive shops on
the web and have been in contact with a few.  I really want to avoid some of
the big chains that herd you on a both with 20 or 25 strangers.  Two of the
smaller operations I have been in contact with have been Dive 'N Stuff and
Diver Down.  Any suggestions concerning either of these or smaller operations.
We are a party of six.
Thanks

Dive Tech
Nancy's outfit is excellent. They do a great job with my small groups.

I dove three days with Dive 'N Stuff in July and I'll be back next month for
a few more.  Paul is a character, his Irish-accented jokes keeping the boat
rolling in laughter during surface intervals.  The diving was very laid
back - either he drops the group and picks up at the next mooring, or he'll
dive with the group and make sure you get back to the boat, depending on the
conditions and the abilities of the group.  I am a very picky diver and
thought Rodale's favorite, Ocean Frontiers, sucked big time, yet I couldn't
find anything to complain about re Dive 'N Stuff.  Oh, yeah, one
"complaint":  he didn't have any XXL T-shirts in stock, so if that's your
concern let him know in advance.  If you want a well-stocked dive shop, go
to Ocean Frontiers.  If you want to dive, go with Paul.
