You know, some times nice things happen to nice people.  I hope,
somewhere, a family is seeing this story and thinks "Die sind
Heinrich' s-Arme. Er würde stolz sein.

(okay, my German really sucks.  I had to stoop to Babelfish.  Which
means that a real Deutschlander will be laughing).

Das sind Heinrich`s Arme. Er würde stolz sein.

We are far more tolerant than expected. No, no laughs.

I lived in Wiesbaden from 1966 to 1969, but it seems lately I'm only
speaking Spanish.

Yeah, Dad was stationed at Lindsay AS (HQ USAFE at the time).  We
lived in Heinerberg, which had one of the two US military high schools
in Germany.

I haven't been back since 1980.  I have a picture of what looks like a
zillion Soviet tanks taken at the Fulda Gap.

Does this mean you will be armed and dangerous?
