Greg Mossman - 07 Oct 2008 20:44 GMT Even more insidious than the notion that Barack Obama might be a Muslim, newly revealed family history shows Palin to be more Canadian than American.

Do we need a Canadian to run our country? Probably, but that's not the point. Palin, being Canadian, is by definition un-American. As everyone knows, Canadians are intent upon destroying the American way of life, by snatching our guns, infiltrating Tim Hortons into unsuspecting American states, and trying to change the very way we talk. Didn't y'all wonder why Palin talks so funny? She's a damn Canadian!
Give the bird to Canada!
Obama for President!

Jeez Greg. Why'd ya have to bring that up? Of course now, when Palin and her sidekick lose it'll be Canada's fault. As if we can't make enuf trouble fer ourselves.

Nothing is more insidious than the possibility that we may elect a Muslim, who denies he's a Muslim, to the Presidency of the United States. Nothing.
Since Canada is part of North America, and Canadians are, biologically, pretty much the same as other Americans, I'd have to say she's all American. Her ancestors may have been Canadian citizens for all I know. Lucky for her, that's not the basis for assigning nationality.
If we're going to depend on where their parents came from, I suspect that Obama would be much less American than Palin. I don't know about you, nobody knows about you, but even if she were a Canadian, I'd rather have one of them than a Kenyan?

Nothing surprises me anymore
Especially in the United States political system
JimG - 08 Oct 2008 14:34 GMT > Nothing surprises me anymore > > Especially in the United States political system Just wait until election night. Four hour lineups, dangling chads, malfunctioning voting machines (voting machines ???...only in the USA). Chaos.
A Canadian General Election was called about a month ago. Election day is Oct 14. All voting is on a paper ballot marked with an "X". ALL will be counted...isn't that a neat idea ??

We're back to paper ballots, this time with bubbles to be completely filled in with a pen or pencil, I don't recall which. Perhaps our citizens will do better with this system than they have with previous systems.

Of course, the counties that had the most problems were primarily Demcrat controlled. And the Dems were the ones who picked the butterfly ballot.

"(Sun-Sentinel) - More than 30,000 Florida felons who by law should have been stripped of their right to vote remain registered to cast ballots in this presidential battleground state, a Sun Sentinel investigation has found."

Add the felons to the folks who vote twice (one guy got caught after the Obama campaign registered him 73 times), the brain-dead brought in by the Democratic busload from nursing homes, the disappearing ballots (3,000 in the recent Palm Beach County election), and Florida will retain its status as one of the top ten voter fraud states.

There may be a slight change in number of "spoiled" ballots, sometimes a subjective call. Nothing compared to dangling chads. Recounts are rare.
The Republic of the Congo has a better voting system than some of your elections.

So we'll all get to grow beards and treat women like chattel. Where's the harm in that? And cutting off hands for stealing should appease all the tough-on-crime Republicans. Forget about three strikes, since Allah only gave us two hands.
Still, how could Obama possibly be Arab if he's against drilling for oil? No Arab could possibly fake that, it's as heretical as drawing funny cartoons of The Prophet.
