No mention in the Austin news media yesterday

Did any of your local newspapers or TV stations mention that Sunday
was the 39th anniversary of what I consider to be the most important
acheivement of modern man?  Well, actually the 21st for me, but I was

I recall riding home from Dad's marina that evening, and hearing the fire
sirens go off in the town we were driving in at the precise moment he
"stepped on it."

Nawh, beer was invented a lot longer than 39 years ago...

Modern man.  I don't consider the Egyptians to be modern.  Although I
do think that the same space aliens that built the pyramids for them
gave them beer.
