There is a Cliff Diving place outside of town.   It's worth going
to watch, but I wouldn't reccomend "diving" off the cliffs
with SCUBA gear on.

La Quebrada - Cliff Divers

That's the only diving I've seen in Acapulco.

The only dangerous animal in Acapulco is the "tibur?n de la playa", common
to all beach destinations.  Will follow you around and make kissy noises and
invite you to a better beach.  Treat with caution!

I dove with Hermanos Arnold...106 Costera M. Aleman (the main drag?).  Dove
"Hawaii", off the Isla de la Roqueta, and on a shallow wreck (Corsario)
right in the bay, some nice morays.  Hey, that was 5 years ago today!  Log
books are useful after all.  Best part:  no wetsuit required.  Price was
reasonable, tho' I can't recall how much now.  I was the only person diving
that day, so it was just me, the DM and the guy driving the boat.  Muy
bueno!

Have a great time.
