Buy another camera. Check out eBay if you want bargains.

As per Canon USA's and B&H's websites, the only UW housing for the
SD450 is the "AW-DC50", which is only good to 9.8 feet.
In looking at Canon's Part# naming conventions, it looks like the "AW"
prefix suggests "All Weather", whereas a housing good enough for scuba
is a "WP" (Water Proof) prefix.
Thus, what you need to find is a WP housing that fits the SD450 ...
which according to Canon, none do ... or find a WP-series housing and
a new Canon camera that you're willing to buy.

BTW, I did check out the price of the AW-DC50 on both Canon's website
as well as at B&H. The prices were $169 at Canon and $120 for it at
B&H, so whatever you end up deciding, B&H will probably be the cheaper
place to go buy whatever.

We waited about 2 years before trying to buy a housing for Carol's
camera. Sony no longer made/sold it, but we found one on eBay and I
actually managed to buy it at less than what Sony listed it for. As
opposed to several others that I saw that went for more.

Best bet is to look for the camera and housing at the same time.
I found a housing for my new A100. Of course, it's only $1100, plus
the dome. So instead I'm going to protect my investment and buy two
more MX10s.

And very good people to work with. I can't sing their praises highly
enough.
