Yeah sad news.

Not sure I would define him as a sporting hero just as don't consider diving
a sport but whatever an inspirational man who did a lot for Nepal

I'm sure the Repugs on this newsgroup heard the news that "Hillary
has died" and had an orgasm before they realized that the news
wasn't about Hillary Clinton.

sorry biggest trator to have ever set foot back in country should have been
shot for not putting his own country flag on everest

Why? His grandparents were from Yorkshire, NZ is a British Commonwealth
country.

And there is the small bit that he was part of a BRITISH expedition, led
by a BRITON - John Hunt
Had the first assault team (BRITS) not failed just short of the summit,
nobody would have ever heard of Hillary!

tenzings flag was there  there were i think 5 flags the british on nepal
tibet united nations and another  just no new zealand one  that  would be on
a par with say america filming the moon landing in there studio saying hhang
on we forgot to get a us flag oh well we got a few spare jap ones from the
war we will use one of them. fair enough i think he made his repentsmany time
over with the work he did there in latter years
