Perch Lake is a local dive destination.  An organization called Friends of
Perch Lake endeavors to raise funds for a learning and reception center at
the county park in the town of St. Joseph.  Here is how you can contribute
without spending money.  Go to www.goodsearch.com, type in Friends of Perch
Lake in the box "who do you search for."  For each search done using this
Yahoo-driven search engine two cents goes to the Friends of Perch Lake
Learning Center Fund.  You could also cut a check to the Friends of Perch
Lake if you feel so inclined.  They're looking for 3/4 of a million dollars
for the project.

Local to anyone that considers it local.

That would require him to let people know where he lives?

Another Scottism.

So you're hiding where you live also?  I've never understood why some of
the people don't even want the most general idea about their location made
public... OK, I can understand how you might not want to post your real
location... I do, but not everyone is as psychotic as I am... But refusing
to even post the city where you live is just plain and simple paranoia at
an unhealthy level... A little paranoia is a good thing, but what these
people do who are using remailers and such just to remove any link to
where they might generally be located is just plain strange... Trust me, I
know strange and *this* is definitely strange...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychosis

Features include hallucinations, delusions, thought disorder, and lack of
insight.  Now, what exactly is it that you thought you needed to know while
not realizing that you already knew it during the period that you couldn't
remember the subject and imagined you understood what was happening?

Fortunately for the organization, the search engine will award the $0.02
even if a psycho is pressing the mouse button.

To me.  I did my OW, some of my AOW and some of my Rescue dives there.
One of my training partners used to bring his dates there back in high
school too.  Hehe

What a change a year made.  You did good in the drysuit.

Yes.  I've known "Ben" for over a year now.  We've been to Lake
Superior, Wazee and Perch together but we've never dove together.

So you only have to do 37,500,000 searches.  Better get typing.

If I can get Lee over the "local" issue and searching, I'll only need to do
37,499,999 searches more to make this a reality.  If I could get Scott to
post one less backplate spam post and into a search, it would be down to
37,499,998.  If I could get Doug, Dennis, John, and the rest of the
quibble-over-each-and-every-detail-no-matter-how-meaningless posters to
search as much as they post, the goal would be achieved with no additional
effort on my part.

That budget would keep Reef Rescue going for over 30 years!
