Shore diving in Coz is not going to be very good and there are other
hotels that can suit your requirement. Hotel Fontan and Villa Aldora
if you dive with them although they may not have lockers. Just take
your stuff to your room.
There is another near Papa Hogs south of town that is on the
waterfront that may be convenient for shore diving if you want to call
the shore diving productive. It is not like Bonaire.

The hotel near Papa Hogs used to be called Lorena and may now be
Caribe Blu.

Thanks for your feedback.
Actually I mis-spoke. My first priority would be diving off a hotel's
dock. If not that, then shore diving at the property.

They have a bit of shore diving in Cozumel, but it's not the same
calibre you had in Bonaire. In fact, the only place in the Caribbean
I've been to that has the same calibre of shore diving as Bonaire is
Curacao.
If you're looking for a short stroll and a jump, have you considered a
liveaboard?
