Got one (E8 - 130) for Christmas. Service pressure is 3442 psi. It comes
with a yoke valve. The tank model "replaces" the former "LP 104." I believe
LP steel tanks normally have a service pressure of about 2450 psi.  Is the
PST E8-130 a LP or HP steel tank?

I primarily use aluminum 80s, just getting in to steel tanks!

3442 psi is pretty high.  PST's old "high pressure" steel tanks had a
service pressure of 3500 psi.  In any case, 3442 psi is a high pressure
tank.

Got a E7-120 and I'm diggin' it.  -1.3 empty, -10.3 full (or 0.0,
-10.5 depending on where you get your figures), only a bit longer and
heavier than an AL80, but lots more bottom time.  Straps right on my
BCD with no screwing around with the camband, ditto for my pony.  I'm
6'2" so I didn't need the shorter E8-199 anyway.
Think I'll order up another one...
As for the HP/LP question, the old LP were 2640 so it seems to me the
new ones at 3442 would be HP.
