BLACK AND JEWISH...... Little Johnny came home from school one day slightly confused? His mother was Jewish and his father was black. So Johnny asks, Mommy, am I more Jewish or more black?" So, when his father arrived home from work, Little Johnny asks the same question, "Daddy, am I more Jewish or more black?" "What the hell kind of a question is that? Why do you want to know if you're more Jewish or more black?" asks his dad. "Well, it's like this dad... Generally speaking, those of us here in rec.scuba try to avoid racial slurs. We're never sure who might read them, whose feelings might be hurt and which of those that don't like them are armed and a tad unstable. We really don't care what color, religion or gender you are as long as your religion does not involve trying to kill us. We only care about your position on the right to keep and bear arms and what you know about diving. OK, so we do take some cheap shots at Canadians and Californians, but it's only because some of them have such funny ideas. Please, no more racial jokes. Well, I'm not specifically hiding my identity, even if I gave you my real name and address you wouldn't know who I was and would have no reference point to judge me by. No one gives out their identity on the net, for the most part, for obvoius reasons so I think the point is a bit irrelevent. He, as you, cross posted it to several groups. I have removed them. But it wouldn't do any good any way. I have him kill filed along with the other trolls so I never see his posts unless someone replies to them without snipping out the junk. Funny... I used to be very proud of the fact that I never used a kill file. Then the news groups became more garbage than news and I had to install one. Now the groups are enjoyable again. But, sheesh! There are a LOT of names and subjects in that file. I'm sure that I'm missing out on a few interesting ones, but it's worth it to throw out the junk.
