Nice to see so many rec.scubans out and about having a good time
diving.  I'd be jealous, except I'm one of them.

I'll be headed to Florida's west coast, Homosassa Springs, first thing
tomorrow morning for a visit with my father and a few days of snorkeling for
bay scallops. No diving required. We're really looking forward to it.

It doesn't hurt that tomorrow is US Independence day and our 16th
anniversary.

Let me be the first.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I just wanted everyone to take notice that there is no comma between shitty
and Carl.  Stop and think about the ramifications.

Was it just an oversight, or did John actually mean to write it that way?
The world may never know.

I am jealous.  Hurt my back pretty bad, so I'm out of the game for a
while.  And it looks like my rugby career is officially over :(

You ever come down to Florida, hopefully you'll announce it.

Sorry to hear about the back, hopefully you'll heal well enough to dive
as you like unimpeded.

Couple of years back, my orthopedic doctor told me martial arts,
specifically breaking, was very hard on my knees.  He suggested diving would
be much easier on them.  Guess he's never seen how we get the gear to the
water.  :-)

There have been great trip reports and information lately.  The subject
matter, including recent video and photography links, is about the diving
experience and having fun practicing the sport.  I read for over an hour the
other morning and it was wonderful.  Thank you Dan for your part.

And to think, Dan and Pat managed to have dinner with people who were
carrying handguns and *no one* got shot... Good thing the dinner
topics didn't get into something really controversial like DIR vis
non-DIR diving... <snicker>

They were probably lying about having the handguns like you did
when you were in Toronto.

I could have done the same thing, but I figured that it would require hours
of pouring over crap I don't really care to read (or re-read as the case may
be) and I know that much of his stuff is posted with X-No Archive, so even
if I read ever post (of the over 3000 returned) it might not be definitive.

No doubt.

I just like immortalizing "Carl" for the piece of sh.t he is whenever
possible.

The guy tries to hide from his own words.

I was just back in Europe *again* this past week, Carl, but didn't
even think of mentioning it to you, since you bailed out of meeting at
AMS.  Want to try for a meeting this coming September, or is that not
quite enough leadtime for you?

I'm sre its plenty of leadtime - give him a chance to pick a really good
hiding place.

I was in Amsterdam three days after you were there, fuckwit, and
I wasn't at the airport.

But since you think not meeting then was 'bailing' then I get to
laugh at Dennis for bailing out on meeting me in Amsterdam.
