Note the time elapsed between the shot and it's return.

Timelapse register on youTube suggests ~2 seconds, although its a
quite crude measure.
Since the shot didn't penetrate, it suggests that it was going less
than 300fps on impact, and thus, a lot shorter range than most would
otherwise suspect. While the average return velocity would have been
higher than impact velocity, using 'infinite' velocity outbound and
300fps as the average works out neatly to 200yds.
Similarly, the time lag between the target 'ping' and the 'thwack' is
the speed of sound beating the bullet back. The timelapse for this
seems to be around 1sec, so 1100fps - 300fps = 800ft = ~260 yds.

Kinda like this;

I have tried .30/06 ball ammo against a torque converter and it barely made
a mark on it.
Just kinda scuffed the finish.

My first paying drive was an A/FD. Injected nitro burning 392
connected to a Ford 9 inch rear end with a Torquflite. With me
sitting on top of the tranny. You bet your butt I wanted it tough.
And I bet my butt that it was. Although I did see quite a few
explosions. Something about send 1000hp through something designed
for 150.

The pucker factor probably added some safety margin.

I have never yet seen a torque converter that compromised the casing.
The guts were fragged, but never a compromise of the case.
