Which is in Rhode Island and only ~20 miles east of Montauk point, so
its almost close enough to be considered a Long Island Sound dive :-)

Local TV weather report last night had surf temperatures in the low/
mid 60's. Figure the bottom to be at least 10F cooler.

This is what I've always heard; I'd probably expect 10ft viz.
