Is nice this time of year, after breezing over the border yet again,
despite the best efforts of carLito and Yesman Mike.

All the Canadians seem so nice here, it must be something in the water
going East, or maybe the proximity to Quebec.

Nice country - did they make you drive through the NWT? Boring, boring
road that is...

Buffalo are OK. If you get far enough north you'll hit muskoxen. Many
years ago I spent a summer up north - we often ran into trouble with the
oxen going into their defensive posture right on the road. Big circle
of big animals blocking the road (well path, didn't exactly have roads).
Made for slow driving. The mating season was the best though -
apparently during that time the boys think anything their size or bigger
is something they need to fight or f**k - trucks, pumpjacks, tents, you
name it...
