Hi folks,

I will be in the Virginia Beach area for a few days on business.
Won't have time for a boat dive but will have time for a shore
dive each evening. I dove in the LynnHaven area several times last
year but there wasn't much to see and the vis was about 3 feet.

Is there anyplace within a short drive of Oceana/Norfolk/Virginia
Beach that may be more interesting?

Thanks for any ideas!!

Try N36.813644 W76.297887... It should prove to be quite an
interesting experience for you...

Yep, diving Hampton Roads would also prove to be an interesting
experience...

Janusz, I thought you were going back to Europe!  How much longer will you
be here?

Max.

Yes, but submarine propellers are a bit dangerous so I hear
and who wants to get mowed down by a patrol boat?

Interesting perhaps, although I may outrank those taking an
interest in my diving activities. Perhaps I could even explain
to them in terms they would understand how the diver denial
system works, although they are supposed to be squared away
on that by the time I see them anyway.

Would you suggest I go to that location with a rebreather
to be more 'stealthy'? Perhaps spray myself and my gear with
flat black rustoleum and venture in around midnight.

Why don't I just 'scuba on in' to Fort Story or Little Neck?
It would be closer to LynnHaven and generate the same confusion.
