I finally learned to swim freestyle.  Now I have no idea what I'm going to
do with this new found talent, as one lap completely wears me out, but I did
accomplish my goal with the help of a lot of lifeguards who I think just
took pity on me. lol

Now to dive back in and get that %$#@& certification.  As you recall I had
to drop out of my class because the instructor wouldn't let me wear my
contacts so I could see what was going on.  After what I went through I'm
hoping getting my certification with this new instructor will be a piece of
cake.

Take it one lap at a time.  I can't run more than about two miles
without wanting to lay down and hope a car takes me out of my misery.

Find an instructor who doesn't have such a bullshit attitude.  Carol
took her OW class with her contacts.

The pen may be mightier than the sword, but I've never
seen a .sig beat a Sig.

Hydrooptix goggles actually REQUIRE you to wear contacts while diving
(unless you are horribly near-sighted).  Seems like your instructor was a
twit.
