The 18th marked one year since Caroll's last chemo treatment.  All is
well, she's working 50 hours a week and loving her new car.

"For instance, on planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more
intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New
York, wars and so on, while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in
the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always
believed that they were more intelligent than man, for precisely the same
reasons."

Very good news.

I'm hoping to update the Strokes pages very soon, so please send a
photo of the car...preferably with her in it!   :-)

Excellent news.  Let's hope we see her (& you) underwater soon.

Sigh.  Her ear doc told her "I can't say that you'll ever be able to
dive again.  Can't say you won't.  Try snorkeling for a while, first."

Congratulations Dillon, I know what you must be going through.  Cheryl
was diagnosised with stage 3 colorectal cancer last May 10th and she
finished active treatment on January 24th.  Her prognosis is fairly
decent so here is hoping....

Regards everyone, hope all is fine... I've just been taking a break
from diving ( wet and dry ).... but I hope to see you all again soon.

Good luck Chris, check in whenever you can, this is a sturdy base group that
will still be here when you're ready to go diving again.

And add my congratulations too to Caroll, Dillon.

Damn.

Are you still in Austin?  Where did she go for treatment?

Tell her to get well and that the hair will grow back.  Dark and
curly.
