Dan, as promised I asked around the sunshine coast about air fills.
Here's what I got:

Powell River - Alpha dive services can provide fills of both air and
nitrox, I forgot to ask them about HP fills, but the did fill my AL80's
upto 3100.  Unfortunately, they are not near the marina, so you'd have
to grab a cab to get there.

Egmont Marina does fills, air only as far as I was able to tell.
Operator seemed a little confused about what an HP fill was, but given
the amount of air he put in my tank I'm certain that they can do HP
fills.  Big advantage here is they are a marina, so you don't need to go
far from your boat for fills.

Sechelt - Suncoast diving has air and nitrox.  They also have a budding
tech program, so trimix may be available soon.  HP fills are no problem.
They are close to wharf street, so you could walk your tanks to their
shop from the beach.  But if at the Sechelt marina you'll need to cab it.

Hope this is useful

Thanks a bunch Bryan.  I hope you had a great trip!  I agree on the only
place you mentioned that I have used, Egmont. While it was easy to get to
from the boat, they filled really fast, didn't cool or use a tank, did "top
off" later though, so we got a reasonable fill.

Thanks again for the info--very useful!  Dan
