Another effortless trip across the border where they didn't even ask for an I.D.
Another trip where you fled from me in terror.

I'll be in Bergamo, Italy tomorrow. Send me your truck information and we'll meet.
BTW, by your standards, Dennis fled from me in terror last week.
So, Fatboy, when are you going to grow some balls and identify your trucking firm and your truck?

No ankles too low to grab, eh?
You could give Sheryl lessons as a pivot bitch.
I thought we were going to "grow up"?
But I see that only applies to conservatives, like all spineless liberal rules.
I thought you Dems would have this sh.t well in hand by now.

Gotta have faith > there is no proof. Maybe someone already asked this, but have you ever pondered on whether what you have is faith, or hope, or if there's even a distinction to be made? Many of us claim to have faith, but I suspect it's made up in large part of hope that our faith will ultimately be rewarded. The form of our faith, or hope, perhaps isn't as important as it's presence for the security it gives.
Some, like our literary friend Robert Heinlein, claimed that faith is just a crutch used by the weak to get through the rough patches in our lives. It's easy to see how he arrived at that, given how many of us only really turn to God when things are looking bleak, and ignore Him when things are swinging along nicely in our lives. How many here have said something like "I prayed every night for his/her recovery." or "Thank God for bringing us home safely.", yet the same people go merrily along blaspheming and ignoring the tenets of whatever formal faith they espouse in their day to day lives. Isn't there a niggling little fear, or hope, deep down in many of us that there really is a God so I'd better cover all my bases.
I'm impressed with those who aren't afraid to admit their faith and actually try to live up to the terms of that faith every day. I'm equally impressed with those who deny the existance of God and claim to be able to live without faith or hope. I'm sure there are hypocrites in both groups.

Tony P is a good example, he sticks to his faith and is willing to defend it. Good on him. I guess my problem is I have trouble believing as "gospel" the mutterings of a bunch of semi-literate, bronze age nomadic sheepherders, just as I do the "author" of the Koran, which, come to think of it was pretty much the same. And did I mention those hot, itchy woolen outfits in the sun? ;) However, that does not preclude a belief in a higher power, just a much different view of what that might be.

I haven't tried either although I have to pay off a bet with a bottle of Oban so mebbe I'll get a taste of it. If not I'll have to buy 'em both to find out. I doubt I'll bring myself to spring for the eldest of them though. $400 a pop is crazy.

Douglas W. "Popeye" Frederick - 15 May 2007 17:47 GMT Dear Piece of sh.t,
I'll be in Toronto in a day or two, after breezing across the border yet again.
Let's do lunch (as if).
Just for the sake of conversation, since there's less chance of you showing up than there was of LMfO backing Futile John, it would have to be at a truckstop, probably up on the 400.
Since you're killfiled, someone else will have to re-post your response.
Dear Someone Else:
Don't bother, unless he lists his name, address, and phone number.
