This weekend is Ocean Fest, there were a surprising number of folks
showed up for the Friday night opening. http://www.oceanfest.com/
OK, the traffic and parking is a bitch, but you get to come by the Reef
Rescue booth and buy a Tshirt, on Sunday meet ESG and the lovely
Deborah, drink somne beer, check out the babes (seriously!), and harrass
yer favorite dive vendors.
See ya there.

I've already met ESG but I have two questions for him. Do you ship? Do
you have a teeshirt to fit my portly old frame (50" chest)? Can I pay
by credit card? I realize that's three.
Sorry. A 4th question. Do I get a pic of Deborah? That's not a deal
breaker but it would be cool.

Yeah, I think we have some real large ones. For you, I'll ship. What are
the hassles with sending it into Canada?
We do take credit cards. If you dare, email the number (not secure) or
split the number between omgray@earthlink.net and
elstrokoguapo@earthlink.net
And I'll even send a pic of the lovely Deborah.

If you send it by US Mail insure it. I have lost more stuff going across the
border and USPS than to anything else.

Actually, do it this way: go to http://www.reef-rescue.org/ and make a
donation through the secure "Donate Now" link. I'll send the shirt.

If a 50" chest qualifies as portly, I must be downright gargantuan.

Well, nobody's accused me of being puny.

The last time I went jacket shopping, I was up to 54". That was four years and about 40 pounds ago.

Yeah, sorry about that. The first show we have done was the December
show in West Palm. This is our third, first big one, and our
non-existant public relations department dropped the ball.
We are still an all volunteer organization with a four figure budget,
aside from a very generous gift from the Lattner Foundation last December.
We have lots of diver volunteers (too many) but we're having trouble
finding volunteers to help with publicity, grants, and that sort of thing.
Because of the Lattner gift, we are now required to file IRS 990 and
maintain a real set of books. Hundreds of hours spent in the first
quarter setting up a financial system, policies, procedures, forms,
controls, and generating financial statements for 2004, 2005. 2006, and
the first Q of 2007. But that's done and was favorably reviewed by an
independent CPA. The 990 will be submitted next week.
So keep those contributions coming. Donate o-line at
http://www.reef-rescue.org/
thanks
