Can I get eggs over-medium and hash browns with that?

Didn't intend for it to be interpreted as spam, I just thought it'd be
informative. I'll cancel the post.

The site is nothing but commercial.

Dont recognize you from around here, your google profile is pretty sparse,
and people always push a site with commercial intent by saying someone sent
them the link.

Do you dive?

Nope I sure don't. A good friend of mine does. He was visiting last night, a
few beers and fooling around on the computer. He doesn't know the net very
well, I was just showing him around and stumbled onto that site, then we
started talking about discussion groups  so I showed him the uber source
(being Usenet) for the first time, and of course, right here into rec.scuba.
Things kind of flowed from there ya know? I can see how it could have been
interpreted as spam and I don't blame you one bit. I should have been more
careful about that post, sorry about that. Anyway, I think he might try to
access the group soon, he was quite impressed!

If you don't dive, how would you know that the site you recommended
would be a good one?

and didn't sign him in under his own new login that you helped him
get?  What kind of friend are you?

and of course, right here into rec.scuba.

I'm a web designer by day. the site is sorta craptastic. why does every page
open a new browser window? I have to unblock my popup blocker to view
anything.

I have designed a few pathetic websites in the past and even my most
amateur efforts were better than this.  At least stuff *worked*.
