Florida Keys in January

Cold by my standards (most likely in the upper 60s or lower 70s f) and
unreliable.  Winter is our most unreliable time.  High winds, which cause
high waves and low visibility are more common and nice days with moderate
seas and good visibility are less common.  Just like in the summer, you have
to take your chances, it's just that, in the winter, the chances aren't
quite as good.
