Who's in Dallas

I'm leaving for Dallas this afternoon.  I probably won't get in early enough
to be sociable this evening, but dinner tomorrow night, Thursday night, is
open.  I'll be in downtown Dallas without a rental car, somewhat limiting my
mobility.

If there's anyone there that wants to meet for dinner or a couple of drinks,
make that anyone I can safely meet without carrying a firearm, send a
contact phone number to pleebell@bellsouth.net .

I'm right down the road from you, about 4 hours away -- practically next
door when measured in Texas driving distances... Can't get away though...

Too bad you aren't going to be in San Antonio.  Word is that there's going to be some pretty good
college basketball going on there this weekend.

I'm home already.  I flew out Wednesday, did a meeting on Thursday and flew
back this morning/afternoon.

Yeah, I was gonna be out there, but got re-routed.

I gotta drop in Ocala and Winterhaven, and re-load at Daytona for
Tallahassee and Corpus Christy.

Visits are too few and far between, but we can only do what we can do.

So, you're taking I-10 to US-59?  Give me a shout if you have a
chance... You'll be passing pretty close... I'm near the US-59 and the
Brazos River...

I'm in Rosenberg now, at the Chevron... and nice enough not to call. :-)

Our company is a major player in specialized boat delivery, and, several
other companies like U.S. Express and Teton have just dropped out.

The good news is... we're busy.

 The bad news is...

 Damn, are we busy.

At least I'll know for next time.

I'm going right back up to Alberta (Grande Prarie), but, I'll be on the
fly.

Oh well, they say it slows down during summertime...

If you're still there, give me a shout...

As compared to a frightened adolescent 51st stater with an inferiority
complex like yourself?

Ah.

I'm not Canadian, Mikey.

Unlike you and Lee, I have no problem living my life without
having a gun with me, or pretending to have one with me, like
you did on your trip to Toronto.
