His trailer is parked next to the President of the FSM's trailer. Chuuk is a state within the FSM, so it has its own Governor, but it's also the government seat of the FSM, so it houses the President. I blended the two for expediency's sake (makes for a better joke) but they do actually occupy separate trailers and are therefore likely to be separate people as well. Actually they're not trailers, but little homes about the size of double wide trailers, complete with a clothesline in the back. Instead of a limo, there was a red pickup parked there, and some jeans and T-shirts hanging on the clothesline. So I guess I'm not surprised that his "private launch" sank. Was it a rowboat? We parked nearby in order to hike up the hill to a cave where there's a long gun pointed down at the lagoon. Apparently the Japanese forced Chuukese prisoner/slaves to dig the cave so the Japanese could place their gun inside to protect the merchant ships in the harbor. Bascially, some guys who were working for my brother at the time found that their boat was too small for them all to scubqa dive from, so through a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend, they got hooked up to borrow the larger Governor's private launch to dive from. They took it out, started a dive ...a little 'oops' occurred... and saw it sink next to them.
