Viewing jelly animals

Some of my favorite diving has been in shallow water, < 5 meters. Warm, no
air or N2 limit, and lots of interesting jelly animals. Bit hard to see
them, though. Anyone here know if there are useful contrast-enhancing
techniques? Does the combination of polarizers and wave plates used for
revealing strain in glass and plastic work on jelly animals?

Just wear black gloves. Putting yer hand behind the jelly will provide
plenty of contrast for observation.
