2 stainless backplates, 2 sets of Jetfins with Jackie Smith spring
straps, 2 18W HId lights with 2 9AH battery packs each, 2 Nexcell
chargers, 1 10W HID, 8 regulator sets, Olympus camera and housing with
charger and 4 sets of batteries, 5 backup lights with batteries, 2
primary reels, 2 safety spools, I have no idea how many jump spools,
tool box with spare parts and tools, 2 Koplin unweighted STA's (one is
the newer lightweight one), O2 analyzer, knives, masks, wetsuits,
booties, mesh gearbags, timers, compasses, 1 f.cking dive computer,
extra double enders, clothes for a week (for 1 male and 1 female),
textbooks for the new school at Dos Palmas (at cenote Dos Ojos) plus all
of the unidentifiable things a female needs are packed and ready, and
we're still 30 lbs under our 200 lb total allowance. Where's the guy who
couldn't take jetfins because they weigh too much?
We're off for the Yucatan in the morning. If anyone else is going to be
down there, we'll be at the jungle fill station a few clicks north of
Akumal every morning.

Ahhh. You make me smile.

I wish.
I'll be buried in a 350 part assembly, with associated drawings, fixtures
and NC programs.
I think I am going to look for another job in a shipyard or a repair shop. I
miss the old days of manual machining, repairing stuff, welding.
People come all bummed out because their stuff is broken, and they leave
smiling and waiving after it is fixed and shiny.

True, although it's easy enough to grab them by the ears.
And I'll take Deanna as long as she doesn't talk.

Klingon females... You might not survive the mating rituals, but you'll die
with a smile on your face... Or maybe that is just a grimace of pain...
