I'm a PADI advanced cert diver in Sydney Australia for business, didn't
bring any gear since I knew I couldn't get up to the GBR due to
logistical info. Now I'll be staying over the next weekend (10/7 10/8)
and I'd like to get a dive in. I know Sydney isn't by any means the
GBR, but just to get wet and see some local underwater sights.

Can anyone recommend a dive operation here in Sydney? I see one here
that seems to do shore dives  ("Let's Go Diving Sydney") and another in
Manly, about 6 miles away ("Dive Centre Manly"). I hate doing this
stuff blind, it's almost gotten me hurt in other countries so I'd
appreciate any feedback. Need to rent gear, of course. Thanks!

Dive Centre Manly is quite good, there is good divng around North Head and
South Head if you want to get wet without too long a boat trip.
