Had Carol's "End of Treatment" party Saturday night.  We only had
about 110 people show up.  We had some exotic tacos from Taco Deli
(www.tacodeli.com) that were a big hit.  The kids loved the pinata and
the multitude of toys.  And Toby and Ruby, who probably ate more than
their share of dropped tacos.  For dessert we had Jim-Jim's ices
(www.jimjims.com).

I "primed the pump" with a case of Tecate and a six pack of Sam Adams
Oktoberfest.  I now have a cooler with a six of Shiner Bock, a six of
Corona, 5 Fat Tire ales, 3 sixes of Tecate and 4 Coors Lites.  We also
have six more bottles of wine than we started with.

Carol bought a really nice tropical bouquet at Costco.  We now have
three more.  We bought four trays of taco meat, for some reason they
delivered 6.  Carol's brother cut a goat in the morning and delivered
about 6 pounds of cabrito, which disappeared in a hurry.

The supporting cast arrived around 5, the party "officially" started
at six and we were in full boil by 7.  The last of the hangers on left
at 10:30 and we had the place cleaned up by about 1.  And I haven't
slept a wink since then.  I've been up since 7 Saturday morning and
don't feel tired.  Unlike the dogs, who crashed within minutes of
getting into the bedroom.

Grummy, I'll pick you up at Bergstrom and we can do a dive at the dam
with the dive club.  And then kill an assortment of beers.  How you
get back is your problem, although we do have a nice guest bedroom.

We'll be on the boat in a week, give or take a few hours.

Since Carol's already burned through her deductible for the year,
she's going to have her eardrum repaired before December.  It's free
surgery.

The party sounds like a success and the best part is that Carol is
recovering well and she had a great time. Take care and good luck.

Apart from a missing coupla lines, it sounds like a typical rec.scuba trip
report!
Glad to hear the treatment is over, all the best to you both.

Dave.
