Carol completed radiation yesterday. Now it's all about perpetual
testing (mammograms and MRIs). But her surgeon says she's "clincally
free of disease" and that's good enough for us at this point.
Next doctor's visit is her medical oncologist on the 9th. Then a
celebratory cruise on the 24th of September followed by (or preceeded
by if we can get our act together) a party.

Any chance the cruise will leave from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami?

We do have like 9 hours in KW, up through midnight. One of these days
we'll get back to Florida for some diving, but not until Carol's ear

Consider renting a couple of bikes and ride around the island.
Consider lunch at Pepe's if you're there at the right time. The steak
sandwich is the way to go. It's made from trimmings of the excellent steaks
they serve for dinner.
Consider watching the sunset at Mallory Docks if you enjoy street shows,
somewhere else if you're looking for a romantic event. If you opt for the
romantic event, consider taking a pedicab.
Consider dinner at Pepe's.
Let me know when you make it over for some diving. I can see a dive with
Dillon and Carol in our future.

Excellent news! Just remember that attitude can sometimes be a more
powerful healer than doctors. So by combining the two, you will do well.

I am extremely happy for you both.

We have a neighbor who was given 12 to 18 months. That was in June of
last year. Cancer can be fought and beaten. As the lady at the
Breast Cancer Resource Center said, 5 year survival rates are always 5
years old.

You encounter too much gravity just getting outt'a the pool to teach
anything. How the hell ya gonna stroll up to the bar equipment and
stand upright for longer than 15 minutes?

Lesson #1. If it takes ya 15 minutes to make *any* rum-runner, yer using the
wrong recipe.
