You've got neighbors in this group. Which neighborhood?

Yeah, take the Florida Turnpike up to I-75... Take I-75 north to
I-24... Take I-24 west to US-72... Take US-72 southwest for about 4.6
miles... You'll be in Copenhagen...

Oh, ok... From the intersection of SE 19th street and A1A1, head SSW
on A1A1 for 218 ft... Hand a left and head directly east for 3,105 ft.

I make a left out my door, walk straight until it's easier to swim, then
swim until I see the wreck.
Oh, and do you mean A1A?

Yeah, aka S. Ocean Blvd... For some reason, it looked like an A1A1 on
my map... Looking a little closer, it turns out that what I thought
was a '1' was in fact a '|' instead...

Nope, my last move was within the bldg. I think I'm in the same unit you
stayed at though.

That could be any place I've ever lived in at one time or another. ;0)
The old one was half way up the building, this one is on top. I think it was
this one though.

It was pretty high up and looked south on the beach from the balcony.

If I can jump in here,

I lived on El Mar Drive a half a block south of the Pelicans and the
only time i had a complaint was when Andrew was heading in for a visit,
the weather guy said there could be a 30 foot storm surge and I was
sitting on my livingroom couch at 12 ft. above sea level. The compaint
was that I only had 2 tanks filled at the time and figured I'd need 3
or 4 to properly dive in my livingroom.

Cheers all... Rand

Hi Ed,

When I left LBTS in 96 it couldn't even support a dive shop (there were
no parking meters yet either). I know it has gained in popularity in
the past decade BUT there's bound to be some folks amongst my N.A. and
global viewers who don't yet know the place.

BTW... have you by wild chance come across Ricky and Kona at the LBTS
beach? If so tell them their CDN friend with the mustange says hi!

Cheers.

Don't tell Andres that. IIRC he's had his shop there since at least '95. At
least that's when I met him there.....and it was a dive shop before that
too.

Hi Limey,

It was Captain Als up to 94 then shut down (or was sold) and I'm happy
to see it's doing better. It's where i got my certification with a
great dive master by the name of Stan. He's a big guy with a passion
for night diving and LOBSTERS.

Cheers... Rand

Ah OK. I lived across the street from there and used to hang out with Andres
back in '95, before I was a diver. That was right after he moved in
there.....he's still there, I see him occasionally. Haven't heard of Stan
but there's a lot of turn over with instructors/ DM's around here.

You'll be happy to know that the lobsters this were HUGE and SHALLOW.
Not lots of them but most people got 6 or so...

The beach divers got their fill early.

I *never* dive mini-season. Came home with 11 bugs yesterday though, one
short of the limit for 2 people. Hogfish for dinner last night, bonus!
