I booked my flight into Orlando for late on the 23rd and out early on
the 29th.  I'm not sure about the particulars as my buddy in Florida
is not exactly rolling in dough (he works in Florida, 'nough said) and
didn't commit to any itinerary.

We may just travel down to WPB that evening/morning to be able to dive
on the 24th.  My flight lands at 23:14 on the 23rd.  I need to be back
to Titusville before the planned shuttle launch on the 28th.  Anyone
have any "must dive site(s)" along the way or down to mile marker 0 in
Key West?  Or beyond, really...as long is the price is reasonable.

BTW, I'm off on a fishing trip early this coming Monday and won't be
returning until late next Sunday.  I plan on stopping back up and
diving the Madeira next Sunday on my way back.  So, if I get any
replies to this during the week and don't respond, that is why.

TIA

On little tip on OIA.  Once you clear security, you have two tubes to take
you to your gate.  Look to see which one left last (outgoing).  With that
discerned, knowing which one is inbound, get to the closest door on the
inbound (furthest from the front of the car, closest to the back)  When the
door opens you can sit down at the back of the car, before everyone else
figues out what's going on.  Have a good trip.

John,

You need to re-think that position. Florida has been out-stripping the
US average since 1998. A lot of it is due to the housing boom down
here, but, the tech industry is discovering the benefits of Florida's
tax laws (and no state income tax).

I will be diving WPB on the 25'th (my daughter's OW check-out dive). I
really enjoy diving WPB - nice and easy drift diving.... You even get
to swim with a sea turtle now and then.

Good luck on that date.... I've lived here all my life and the only
launches that actually "go" on the specified date are the ones I don't
go to. :)

Looe Key. Don't miss it. It'll be the high-point of your trip....
