going by the manufacturors lit, both are good. but for nitrox and Trimix
diving, the SUuntos tend to be far more conservative than most other brands,
in fact I hear they are probably the MOST conservative brand. if you want to
push limits, the Suuntos not what you want, but AFAIK both are good comps.

I'm waiting for the flames now... lol

If you really want to push limits, don't use a computer, or use it just in
gauge mode or as backup system.

Best regads, safe diving,

Just relating my experience with the Cobra. My first and only comp console.
Bought it on the recomendations from my LDS.

Very easy to use (once you get used to the menu structure) For the first few
dives, I had to refer to the diagrams but everything seems pretty well laid
out and you can flick through the settings quickly.

The display is big and bright. Nice backlight for night dives or dim
conditions. The shape is thin and streamined. I did get the optional compass
on mine.
Lots of options on dive planning, nitrox, timers, alarms, history, multiple
dive settings ...
The pc software is very easy to use. USB downloads are fast. The PC software
is very good - maps out depth graphs, dive profiles, tissue saturation,
etc...

The LDS owner did say the settings are on the conservative side - but better
safe than sorry. Closer to the Naui tables than the Padi ones.

No regrets - 2 years in use now.
Just my 2 cents.

Six of one, half dozen of the other except...how good is your eyesight? If you
struggle to see underwater, go with the Uwatec. If not, the Cobra is probably a
hair better.
