"A powerful earthquake sent a 6-foot-high tsunami crashing into beach
resorts on Indonesia's Java island Monday, killing at least five people and
extensively damaging hotels, restaurants and homes, officials and witnesses
said. One tourist said she saw about 20 bodies at a health clinic. . . .
Waves measuring between 3 to 7 inches were also recorded on Indonesia's
resort island of Bali."
Fortunately we left Bali on Sunday night, though I doubt the 3-7 inch waves
would have damaged us too badly. Arrived LAX at 4:55 a.m. this morning
after a full 24 hours of travel. It's good to be home.
Trip report to follow.

Too be perfectly honest, he works for the CIA, setting up their
tsunami machines.
I know because I saw him at one of the meetings.

I found some of the Iraqi WMD hidden over there. But if I told you that,
I'd have to kill you. Your PC (and you) will self-destruct in 10 seconds.

You're supposed to hit the ESCAPE key. And, if you're OJ, it's slash,
slash, escape.

Are you accusing me of making waves wherever I go?
Obviously the Asian culture reacts a bit more violently to my presence. I'm
barely able to provoke a tropical storm when I visit Florida, though the
squall that hit us enroute back to Boynton to drop off tanks after DWGII was
definitely the hardest rain I've ever driven in. Brought the highway
practically to a standstill.

Big fuckin' deal... All that means is that it slowed traffic by 20
mph...

No doubt. Hoping heh stays south and out of the PNW, then. According
to USGS, we're overdue.

Got in Saturday night from Paris. 30 hours in transit door-to-door. 18
actual hours hanging in the sky. Thank God for Gameboys or I just might
have killed my own kids.
The sailing off Spain was good, the diving was not.
No trip report to follow.
