'On June 3rd our friend Kimber was evacuated to a
hospital for emergency medical treatment. Since then
she has remained in round the clock care in a Critical
Care Unit. She is making progress in
recovery but it is expected that the recovery and
healing time will be long. While insurance covers much
of the very expensive hospical costs, that will
eventually run out, and it does not cover the daily
expenses of caring for her children and her home. We
know that many of you have asked how you can help and
support her during this difficult and challenging
time. To that end we have established the Kimberly
Thurman Recovery Assistance Fund at Washington Mutual
Bank. Contributions will be administered and
distributed in an appropriate manner for expenses not
covered by insurance.

To make a contribution either in name or anonymously
please send contributions to:

Kimberly Thurman Recovery Assistance Fund
c/o Pat Hawkins
1675 San Elijo Ave
Cardiff, CA 92007
United States

If you have a Washington Mutual branch near you, the
Account # is: 3121460715

You can also send contributions via PAY-PAL to:

patahawkins@aol.com

Any cards that are included will be delivered to her
by her family. As we can give you updates on her
progress we will do so. Your generous support is
greatly appreciated.'

Here's thinking of you, wench...

From the same source, even more encouraging news:

'Kimber has opened her eyes... She has had some movement and has even
cracked a smile. She has shown signs of response, although it's not a
definite signal of recovery.

Every single step no matter how small is a positive sign Keep
praying.'
