So far I have booked the sunday dive on SG and all day on Monday with
Conrad on Miss Conduct out of Pompano Beach. He still has 2 spots open
for Monday morning and 4 for the afternoon. I haven't booked anything
for Saturday yet, but will before the morning is over.

We're flying down so we will be renting tanks. We're staying in Delray
Beach.

What are y'all doing?

Current plans are for me to leave out of Houston on either Tuesday or
Wednesday and pick up a new car for Grace in Pensacola (she rolled her
Jeep WJ on US-59 a couple of weeks ago when an idiot in a Mustang
abruptly changed lanes into her)... Turns out that for the
configuration that she wanted on the new vehicle, out of 53
dealerships that I've contacted, the first one to have exactly what
she wanted was over in Pensacola... Nothing in Texas, Louisiana,
Mississippi, or Alabama with the exact configuration that she
wanted... She'll be driving back the next day and I'll start working
my way down towards the Keys... No reservations for hotels, I'll just
wing it as I travel... I'll probably hit various sites on the way back
to Houston... Not sure if I'll hit the Oriskany on this trip though (I
heard that many of the shops are booked full for the rest of the
year)..

I'd give it a while to attract some tasty treats

Well, I'm bringing a pair of HP-120s, just in case... And at least one
pair of AL80s and perhaps even a pair of steel-72s... The steel-72s
are *very* nice on sidemount...

I left it until two weekends ago to try and book a room for Sat night in KL.
I could only find suites, or places with a 3 night minimum. Good luck on
trying to stay down there. There are at least four of us driving down, and
back to Likkerdale on Sunday.

Sorry I'll miss you and C.  I'm on my way to Belize this Sunday.  Have a
great time!

I hope so!  I've got a craving for that Lobster Pad Thai and the great
company I had at dinner that night.

Also, a few dives with you guys on the MisConduct would be rad.

Would be nice, but I've got a full dance card here.  I have fond
memories of the Miss Conduct.

Yeah, it wasn't even all that warm in Roatan last December.

It was a balmy 52 at the surface here today, and a crisp 46 at depth.

Just picture that with a "clean" one piece harness, without plastic
buggels.

Lucky for everyone, you know where it went.  See you later this week.

Keep your fingers crossed that the weather here is OK.  The same front I
suspect hit you is on its way here.  Hopefully, it will have minimum impact
and will be gone before you arrive or, if not that, before the weekend.

Al,

I'm flying in Wednesday afternoon to Lauderdale and should be in by
4:00PM. Hopefully headed to the hotel. I've gotta call Curtis this
evening to see what he has planned to date.

Gregg, Nitespark, Grumman and whoever else is coming down, give me a
call on my cell # whenever you hit town and we'll put something
together.

To all that plan on attending.  I can be available Wednesday and Thursday,
I'm tied up Friday and Saturday evenings.  I had hoped to have a get
together at the house on Friday evening, but it's not to be.  I'm planning
on driving to Key Largo Sunday AM, doing the PM dives and heading back north
Sunday night.  At present, I don't have anything specific planned for
Monday.

As of the moment, I plan on doing a couple of simple dives with Limey Dave,
Rick and whoever else Dave lines up for Friday AM.  That and Sunday on the
Grove are the extent of my planning.  If you've got something else going or
want to get something going, diving, drinks, dinner, whatever, and want
company, let me know.  You can send messages to pleebell2@bellsouth.net ,
which goes to my spamtrap but, if it says anything about Memorial Day, will
get read anyway or delete the 2 and send it to my real e-mail address.

As of last night that's not looking so good either. I have an appointment on
Friday AM, which only leaves a possible 'Hollywood start' for us to be able
to do Friday. Otherwise, it'll be an afternoon trip unless we shift it to
Thursday, which is dicey for me workwise. Sorry.

I missed the original post.  We're flying in Friday around noon, probably
not in time to do any diving that day.  We're scheduled for morning and
afternoon dives with Splashdown on Saturday, plus we're doing the morning
dives with Silent World before the afternoon Spiegel dives.

Will do, though after a sleepless red-eye and with dives the next morning up
in Boynton, we'll be turning in very early Friday night.  I'm sure we can at
least hold out until happy hour, though.

Rick, I should be arriving around 1900-2100hrs.  I will be staying in
Boynton near Splashdown.

1900-2100 which day?

I don't suppose we could talk you into staying a bit closer to the
concentration of Memorial Day visitors?

Lee, I will be arriving on Friday.  Unfortunately, I had already made
the reservations early, not knowing exactly where everyone was staying
and didn't want to run into possibly not getting a hotel room.

I was originally going to stay in Key Largo the entire time but after
looking at the itinerary, decided to go North.

Next time.  You probably saved money.

We're getting in on Friday afternoon, and staying in DelRay Beach. We
are booked for the morning and afternoon dives on splashdown on
Saturday.

I'll try to call you on friday.
