on Expedia.  My wife and I will be staying at the Hyatt Beach House Resort
June 24 to June 29.  Hope to make two dive trips, at least, during the week.

Not really concerned about what to do for night life.  If nothing else, we
will just go down to Duvall St.

So, if some of you can help me plan the best dive sites and shops, I would
appreciate it.  By the way, I will have my videocamera, digital camera, and
the housings, so what should I hope to shoot?

Maybe some great footage of the first category 4 hurricane of the
season?

you won't need it... to early for Florida (I Hope)   we usually don't
get hit until late august to october. We did move our annual island
cruise from July august    to  May-June.

Now that's f.cking funny. Well said. That is the only Fla/Haiti is good for.
Leave your cameras at home. You'll get better pictures at your local dump.
Only 21 days until the season starts. I can hardly wait.

Come to think of it, Don is a bit of a kook, reminded me of this beutiful
piece of poetry......

A strange bird the cuckoo,
It sits in the grass . . .
with its wings neatly folded
and its beak up its a.s . . .
in this strange position
it murmurs twit, twit
for its hard to say cuckoo
with a beak full of sh.t.

You should phone me so that I can sing it to you.  Then you'll remember the
tune forever too!

You should record and post it to the internet so that everyone can remember
the tune forever and you can become rich and famous.

Knowing your habits, you won't be able to help copying it.  Then chilly can
hire me to sue you and we'll both become rich and famous.

More likely, you'll get her arrested for fraudulently claiming it's her
intellectual property and yourself disbarred for the ethical issues of
knowingly suing based on a fraudulent claim of ownership, your well known
and easily proven close relationship with your co conspirator and you're
admitted financial interest in the outcome.

Don't you mean to say "more rich and famous"?

Erm, "infamous"?

I don't have a number. If I ever had it, I've lorst it.
Either way, I think I'd have to be fairly heavily sedated to hear you sing
that.  ;0)

You did have it, at one time.  So I guess it is "lorst". :^)

That would be fine too.

However, it must be noted that I did not write this little ditty.  I only
'sang' it here once long ago, during a thread about either poems or rugby
songs.  I disremember which.  Maybe it was about both.

So no rich and famous will come from this.

OK, Greg.  You're lucky.  chilly came clean and saved your bacon.

I wouldn't have been the first lawyer taken in by their client's claims.  We
know better than to ever trust our clients even when they pay upfront.  You
can be sure that the claims of the pro bono clients like chilly are
investigated thoroughly.  The truth would have come out well before you
received your summons.

That said, I'm trying to contact the original songwriter to see if he wants
to sue chilly, now that she's rich.  Anyone know who wrote it?

I was thinking more along the lines of warrant.  8^))

Now that she's rich?  I don't recall she was poor before.  Did I miss
something?  Should I be nicer to her in hopes of a fully sponsored dive trip
to Cuba?

Apparently not.  We keep getting more of each every year.

Why not just be nicer to me anyway?  One just never knows.

 I bet I know...

Jayna, in 5 seconds or less, and without spilling the beer in her left
hand...

Well, I can hardly argue with that, since it's one of my favorite things to
be.

How did you know she holds her beer in her left hand?

You'll have a great time. Key west has, unfortunately, gone
"family" and you'll find a lot more strollers than Harleys these
days.

Tip well on Mallory Square.

Don't miss Mel Fisher's museum.

Walk the back streets and enjoy some of the real old Florida
architecture.

A trip to Fort Jefferson is very worthwhile, best by floatplane.

And remember, when in the Bull the second floor gets you away
from the awful music, and the third floor is clothing optional.

Head about twenty five miles north of KW to Cudjoe Key to dive Looe Key,

You might try http://www.diveinnerspace.com/ourfleet.htm  for a small dive
boat, or
Loose Key dive center at http://www.diveflakeys.com/ if you don't mind a
"larger boat", as in "cattle"

You should have plenty of things to photograph, as always, depending on when
you get there.  Depending on
wind, current, seas and tide, visiblity can be anywhere from crystal clear
to ten feet.

It's shallow, so you will have lots of BT to set up shots.  Then, they do
offer wreck dives as well.

You should be okay for weather for late June.  We dove the Cayman Islands
for ten straight years in late June with
no problems.....but, you never know.

Hope this helps.

I mean about what would happen if some woman bought Lee a dive trip...

The only question would be which one of you would hit first.
