so much for that old myth.

It's been raining here in Hawaii for 41 days now.  The forecasters say it
might end by next weekend.  Lots of flooding, a dam break, sewer spills, etc
but we're still here.  That's good since I don't have an arc only a few
kayaks and a couple of labs.  Not to say it hasn't been rough.  I grew up in
MI but I had to move to Hawaii before I experienced "Seasonal Affective
Disorder."  LOL

So, don't come to Hawaii to dive.  The vis is shot to hell and will be for
several more weeks.

Yeah.  Uh huh.  My kid just returned from her "Spring Break Holiday" on the
Big Island.  She said it rained on her everyday, no matter where she went.

Suds,

It barely got cloudy when I was out in December...I'm a good weather
Totem :-)

I could use another free trip...Just have your local legislature extend
me an invitation.

It was a wonderful winter.  People were actually complaining about the lack
of rain.  I thought we had slipped by.  Then my Mother-In-Law came to visit.
On February 19th, a low pressure system parked itself north-west of Kauai,
setting up what we call "Kona weather," and it hasn't budged since.

She was just using that as an excuse of why all her t-shirts came back
wet... <dirty-old-man-grin>
